I've gotten Nia on my mind as of late so I figured my avatar heading into the new year so be of this not-pissing off person.

I wanted something a bit more masculine for a change. I think 90% of the avatars that I have ever used on here were either of female characters or of gender neutral things like the Aperture Science logo. Hotel Dusk was one of my favorite games so I figured I might as well go with Kyle Hyde. I really like it and I'll probably stick with it for a very long time.

That one looks really good with the new avatar dimensions.

It's a shot of a girl representing an Xbox 360 Slim in japanese advertisements. Anyone who knows me will know i have a thing for drill hair, so I was fond of it from the start.

Too bad she doesn't look like this Hyperdimension Neptunia.

I normally leave my Christmas avatar up until the end of December, but decided to go ahead and switch early. Back on a James Bond high recently thanks to picking up some more Ian Fleming novels, and Timothy Dalton is my favorite Bond.

I made sure to save two of the best for last...my first and (before I met the Doctor) favorite time travelers, Doc and Marty.

There are a few other time travelers I didn't list, but with the new year coming I'd like to just end my tribute series here and switch to a more stable avatar/signature. I've never pulled a gimmick like this before and I feel somewhat obnoxious about having done it, but it was a lot of fun and I hope people discovered new characters and stories that they hadn't seen before.

Well... Christmas is over, so it's time for a new avatar.

This time around, it's Taurus Bulba, the badass first villian from Darkwing Duck. It's kind of a shame that they didn't use this guy more (I think he only appeared in one other episode, outside of the pilot), as he was probably one of the more menacing villians from the series. He would have made a good recurring rival for Darkwing and co.

Wow! I didn't know Dark Horse was 25 years old this year. I would have guessed at least 20, but not 25. Still, that's pretty cool.

It's going to take some time to get used to these really huge avatars.
I always thought 120x120 was about optimal to give enough space to resolve a complex image.
I guess it's a good perk though.

I thought you did Back to the Future earlier, but I guess I was wrong.
I didn't get 12, 14, 20 or 21.
Even though I know the story of Sound of Thunder, I didn't recognize the image.

It's from a comic book adaptation of the story. Really the only place to find actual art of the character. (There was no Eckles in the recent ((terrible)) movie.)

But no Voyagers?

I know of the show, but I've never seen an episode. There were a few things I never had personal experience with that made it on this list. (Prince of Persia, 12 Monkeys) Like I said in my older post, there were a few others I could have included, like Voyagers!, Superbook and the Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past from the Future, but I didn't want to drag this on any longer.
