This is the YJ time line I gathered so far. It's a timeline where they first appeared in public and when they joined The League or The Team.

If anyone can fill in some blanks it would be appreciated.

if anyone can fill in the years when the other Supers like WW, Canary, etc. became public or when the other Junior or Top Supers joined the League or the Team would be good.
I've kept a timeline on my site since day one, still occasionally update if anything new pops up on Ask Greg, it should answer all your questions. DCAUR YJ timeline

Apparently some of the Young Justice female characters will have a cameo in the upcoming DTV movie Scooby-Doo Wrestlemania Mystery (of all places):

'Scooby Doo: Wrestlemania Mystery' Stuns Viewers With a 'Young Justice' Easter Egg
Neat! Yet, it also stirs some melancholy. I suppose of similar note, there were YJ easter eggs/reuses in Justice League: War. I noted them in the talkback here.

I'll have to keep a look out for the cameos in the Wrestlemania Scooby movie. At least DC knows that people were crazy for that show that they're throwing us some nice shout outs/call backs.

DC had nothing to do with it.

Brandon Vietti is the director/producer of this movie and simply threw it in as a nod to a show he co-created.

Yojimbo that is an impressive timeline. Congrats on being able to keep track of all that information :).

Though the YJ creative team also deserves props for how extensive a timeline they've constructed. And there's still bits of it we don't know .

If there's one thing that sticks out to me about the timeline it's the age gap between some of the established couples in the series. It seems that, in general, the women tend to be younger than their male lovers. If Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor's relationship was romantic, then it was likely another case of that.

I wonder why we never got any information in regards to Lois in Earth-16?

I'm kinda shocked at how old Lex is, and that he's older than Superman :ack:.

Thanks! Lot's and lot's of Post-It Notes, Pilot G-2 pens, and Sharpie highlighters were sacrificed in the note taking during the active years of Young Justice. Right around when I finished incorporating data from Legacy, I got curious and copy pasted what I had into a word document to see how many pages I had vs. Greg Weisman's 283 page timeline. I had 56 or so... yeah.

Wonder Woman's history is another one that's a big gap for us.

It is sad her one appearance was just in Superboy's Cadmus programming... getting killed by Superman.

A lot are. I think Black Manta is older or has been a supervillain longer than Aquaman's been active.

EDIT: Neat, Mr. Weisman just revealed when B'arzz discovered and attempted to adjust his blue scout scarab, it turned green. So it was one of a kind.

Spotted this just now on Ask Greg: Search Ask Greg : Gargoyles : Station Eight

So if things had turned out differently, we might have had Mary Bromfield and/or Cissie King on the Team in season 1. Presumably Mary would have replaced M'gann and Cissie would have replaced Artemis.

I have to admit that a Team consisting of Dick, Garth, Wally, Donna, Mary and Cissie would've been cool. They could've dropped Garth mid-season in favour of Kaldur (wasn't Garth the first founding Titan to leave the roster in the comics?) as a compromise. And I think I would rather have had Troia than Superboy, but it wasn't to be. M'gann and Artemis earned their stripes and were fun characters, so I can't be too disappointed with the decisions made in that respect.

A new interview with Greg Weisman reveals around 21:58 that they had plans for a new Speedy, Mia Dearden, for the show. Greg also mentions that they believe that Roy might have developed a heroin addiction during the five-year time skip at 30:30.

Cool. Would have been funny reading fans gripe about there being three archers on the Team.

Either I forgot, but that was also interesting they had marching orders to create a DC Universe. I figured that was a bi-product of Weisman and Vietti planning out the series.

A fully explored YJ DCAU is potential for greatness. I was expecting Abrams Star Trek universe to be explored with as much depth and insight as YJ has, alas Into Darkness completely demolished that so far.

I think we pretty much all want to see where they could go with a new series in the continuity of YJ.

I'd rather not see a series in continuity of YJ.. I don't see where it would go, I don't want to see sprinkles of cameos and references here and there. I don't want to see a show focusing on a fraction of the Team, either. it was bad enough in the show explaining random disappearances. it would irritate me too much. What made YJ so great for me was the drama of the young generation as they grew up, took over their mentors' roles, and interacted with the next generation after them. At this point, I think YJ should just be laid to rest. It had potential, but sadly Cartoon Network did not see it that way.

Doesn't surprise me at all given what we've seen since JLU. Things like Mattel making Katma Tui at retail, Bandai almost making the Doom Patrol, etc.

I have to say, my view of this show has always been a skewed.

When YJ first came out, my biggest worry was that it would do better than Teen Titans, and while it does, to a degree, that became a minor worry after a while. By that time, i was starting to like Young Justice, with only one or two episodes not being to my liking. However, around the time when "Alpha Male" first aired, there were scenes within the episode that made my mind have a field day (and not in a good way). This caused me to become wary to watch later episodes from start to finish, as i feared that they would give me scenes just as bad. I might have skimmed a few episodes but that was it.

I've always been a DC fan and, at this age, i'm able to appreciate the intricacy of Greg Weisman's story arcs, so i should love this show. Yet something is keeping me from reaching that completely.

This was added to Netfix Streaming the same time as GLTAS

It's just the first season, though. I wonder why?

Probably an oversight thinking "well GLTAS has 26 episodes so YJ must only have 26, too!" HER DERRRRR

Yo...when YJ first aired, I was already accustomed to the artstyle from Criss on Two Earths Dtv movie, but man oh man, the show STILL blew me away. MOI Animation rocked my socks on A:TLA, but the colors, art, scenery, animation, just too beautiful. Sometimes I had to rewind scenes just to attempt to grasp what was happening on screen, no lie. Those hyper detailed character designs...man oh man. Blew Teen Titans+JLU out the water.

Mind you, my viewing was standard def on HDTV, so rewatching via HD netlfix has been amazing.

Edit: Lotto Animation is no slouch and although can't dominate MOI, they can hold their own vs stronger studio.

You lost me right there... Why would you be worrying if one show is better than the other? If you're a DC fan as you say, than this shouldn't be something holding you back from watching any DC show. Sure, you may like Teen Titans more, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't watch other shows just because you don't want to watch any shows that are better than Teen Titans. You would be doing yourself a disservice as a DC fan.

Also, I don't necessarily understand what you meant by "my mind [had] a field day" when discussing Alpha Male, as I thought that episode was fine and enjoyed it just like all the others.

I hope you can enjoy any and all quality DC animation in the future. Also, I don't want you to think I'm telling you that you have to like Young Justice because it is amazing and anyone who hasn't seen it isn't amazing, or something stupid like that. Opinions and interests are all subjective stuff, so you may just not like Young Justice. I'm just saying that it seems you don't have a good reason for not enjoying it nor do you have a good reason for not liking it.

Happy 20th anniversary to Gummibär/Gummy Bear!

Here's to hoping he releases an anniversary album in stores on November 13th (with lots of music, videos, and extras).
Just brought a Switch 2 this past weekend. I hope Nintendo doesn't follow Sony's suit of getting rid of physical games.
Find it hard to beleive how this upcoming set has more than one normally-considered "politically incorrect" cartoon in new restoration form..
