I thought this would be a fun thread :) and its always cool to learn more about others goals in life and all that fun.

My current dream right now if I could be anything is a childbook story writer. ...Though I need to keep working on my writing haha! That and I would love to find a career where I can use my acting experience and writing.

A dream I ended up achieving was being able to act on stage and I even won awards in my senior year of High School because of it. Now acting is a loving hobby of mine that makes me smile everyday.

Before my life is over, I WILL own a DeLorean. That's the only big one I've got.

I'm going to become a Heavy Metal vocalist. I have a strong passion for Heavy Metal music and want this to be my career choice. One thing is I am sort of ignorant to music production and I can not play an instrument, though I'm capable of learning and I can perform dirty vocals well.

Well i acheived the goal of getting into a grad program in a prestigious school, so im closer to my dream of owning a practice. On the less attainable and impractical side, i dream to one day own a super car.... A crazy italian supercar that was born to kill you, like say a lambo gallardo.... Or maybe a german supercar like the audi R8... Or maybe a british super car like the mclaren MP4-12C... Or maybe a swiss supercar like the koenigsegg (i think thats how its spelled) CCX..... Oh what the heck, my dream is to own a garagefull of supercars, then proceed to fight the state regarding speed limits, adopt a highway and turn it into an autobahn that banishes anyone who drives a minivan or slower than 70mph!! Mmmm eeeeeexcellent....

My dream is to eventually become an author. I'd love to write my own fantasy series or my own coming of age novel set in a specific time period, which are my two favorite kind of books to read. I need to practice more with my writing since most of my English classes have focused more on the analysis of different books than creative writing, although that is still an important skill I'll need with writing as well. I did get a lot of good marks from my classmates and my professor in my last Creative Writing class, so I'm at least on the right track for that dream.

Biggest dream right now is becoming a novelist. I'm finishing up my MA in Publishing and Writing next week and part-way through the program I realized that I was still more interested in the writing side of the business, especially through the workshops I took with creative writing students. That's why I'm applying to another grad program to pursue an MFA in Creative Writing. My goal is to get enough teaching hours to teach college as well.

Otherwise... need to round up enough money to hit up a Supernatural convention. Those things are ridiculously expensive but sound incredibly fun. [strike]And we all know how obsessed I am.[/strike]

I want to be a game designer or a writer (Maybe for games since I'm so into RPG's). While I've been working on some indie projects off and on, I seem nowhere near close to my goals, not being in school isn't helping either...

I'm still interesting in becoming a travel writer. I'm back in school majoring in geography and I hope one of the study abroad programs will enable me to find a decent place to visit. Egypt looks nice; I've been wanting to see its pyramids and tell people about them orally and in writing...

To become a better musician and bassoon player. It's a struggle for me, especially getting to practice these days.

I'd also love to become a band director for both concert season and marching season.

To be able to make cartoons for a living. First step to that is being able to pay off monthly college loans with it.

I want to voice act on TV at least once.
Plus, I've been considering becoming an author.

As for a short term goal, I want to graduate from 8th grade.

I hope to make and direct cartoons in the future. I already have a few cartoons I've been working on and hoping to pitch someday, they're still in the writing stages seeing as how it's just me working but hey, no one said it'd be an easy road.

I've also had ideas for some animated films that have been tossed around, but they're more, independent films if I should say.

One of my dreams that I'm aiming for is working for the animation industry. I like live-action as well, but my main goal is to work with cartoons.

Watched the live-action "Moana" today and felt nothing that special compared to the original 2016 film. In fact, I don't remember much from the first animated film, but I think they barely changed anything in the 2026 version
@Sam the Cartoonist is right, I've registered on this site two times and I've enjoyed it! :) I'd posted this back in 2016, over ten years ago!
