It turns out AS still has InuYasha. DeMarco tweeted that the additional hour for DST will be the first two episodes of InuYasha and a special easter egg for long time Toonami fans.
I expect to be surprised by whatever shows up when Casshern ends. With the way they've been playing their cards so far it will be equally surprising for them to get something out of left field as it would be for them to get something highly requested like Final Act. But if they want to keep people tuned in it would likely be in their best interest to air a show that isn't on DVD yet.
AS may not have the full rights to Inuyasha still, but could have easily made a deal with VIZ to air the first 2 episodes again for just the one night similar to how AS aired certain shows just for April Fools Day. If AS still had the rights, I think VIZ wouldn't be able to air it on Neon Alley as they are now. Bleach the series not airing on Neon Alley seems to be an indicator that VIZ can't air anything that AS still has the airing rights to. I'm sure The Final Act and any other future potential VIZ show would be sold to AS in a way that doesn't impact Neon Alley. Though, who really knows, and sadly DeMarco is no longer able to comment on these type of things.
