"Am I the only one who thinks..."

Has Justin Bieber even had any other hits besides "Baby"? I personally don't hate the guy, and I actually don't have a problem with his existence, but I'm not a fan of his either.

Am I the only one who thinks the internet should stop overusing the "Congratulations, You Won!" Ads? Because it's getting pretty annoying whenever I try to watch a YouTube video.

I don't think he's even released an album since his first one in 2009. (Unless you want to count the soundtrack to that documentary and the Christmas album, but really, who would?)

I don't despise the kid either, but I am of the opinion that his girlfriend is more talented than he is.

If anything, Nickelback deserves this hatred much more than Bieber. Detroit had the right idea.

And that brings me too...

Am I the only one who doesn't understand why everyone hate Nickelback so much? I like a couple of they're songs, but I bought Dark Horse a couple years back and didn't like most of the songs. I mean they're not the best band ever but they're not terrible either. What do/did they do that's so much worse than every other musician?

Ugly is in the eye of the beholder, and everyone hears music differently, but most people can't stand Nickelback's style (myself included). I hate the lead singer's growly voice, I hate how dishelveled the tunes are, and I hate how they seem to actively try to make the slowest, plodding music they can possibly make and still classify as "rock". It sounds really bad to me and a lot of people agree.

Am I the only one who notices that characters on live-action shows wear their shoes inside their house? I know the actors are on set, but you'd think they'd do a better job of hiding it, or at least make a joke about it.

Am I the only one who thinks zombies are so...so.... SO stupid. If I hear another apocalypse joke involving zombies I think I may cry. But seriously they have to be the most over-used, clicked plot-device to have been trendy among teenage demographics. They make me sick.

"I would not say such things if I were you..."

Actually I too think the zombie craze is overblown. In 03, it wasn't so bad.

Because not all of us like snipers. I've had an account for almost ten years and I still don't like it. In a way, sniping isn't that beneficial if someone uses ebay's system wisely. Put in your maximum like it says and let ebay do the work. Sure I'd like to pay less than my maximum bid, but I'm not going to gamble with these things. If you want to snipe 5 bucks and I'm willing to pay 20, you won't have time to try again if you wait until the last second.

There's an item I've spent a week watching....it finally expires this weekend....it's an extremely rare thing, and every time I look back and see yet another person has bid on it and raised the price, I want to scream. Do they honestly think that NO ONE will come and bid higher than them before this auction ends? All they're doing at this point is making it more expensive for them. Bidding this early is completely pointless.

It's past four hundred bucks now, and auctions always gain the most on their final day. I figure by Minute 1 it will have topped a thousand. If everyone was a sniper like me, I wouldn't be so screwed.

I have to agree that this is really played out. To be honest, Resident Evil is probably the only zombie story I like, mostly on the grounds that the zombies don't "cheat" like in every other setting. I mean, it takes dumping the virus in a city's water supply to infect a large enough area.

...Because it's a really common thing in Western culture? I think Japan is the only country I know of that makes a big deal about not wearing shoes indoors.

But in this case, sniping is useless because there are still people who do it the old fashioned way- bidding. And that person out there is really willing to pay a thousand, so to him it's not a waste.

Willing, maybe. But if given a choice, would anyone rather pay a thousand, or half that? He has a choice; he can choose to not inflate it. But he chooses to anyway, which makes no sense to me.

Yeah, especially when they're wearing their shoes while they're on the couch on in bed. A former co-worker talked about that once, and not to bring race into it, she specifically targeted Caucasian characters when doing so. (She had an annoying habit of targeting Caucasians in general, but that's another story.) However, I once saw a black character in a show sitting on his bed with his sneakers on.

I get the feeling a joke was made about that in a show some time, except we never saw it happen.

I know many people who wear their shoes inside. Heck, it's only within the last few years or so that I began leaving them off when I was home. Before that I almost always had my shoes on in the house until later in the evening, once I determined I wouldn't be going out for the rest of the night.

Wow, there is debate on who to hate the most and why...

Am I the only one who thinks zombies are so...so.... SO stupid. If I hear another apocalypse joke involving zombies I think I may cry. But seriously they have to be the most over-used, clicked plot-device to have been trendy among teenage demographics. They make me sick.

Zombies are very popular for some reason and I hate it. They even add them to video games just for the fact that they're zombie. It doesn't add any challenge to the game or extra content. You just go around shooting zombies... like any other zombie game... boooooring.

Lots of people do that in real life. My brother always wears his shoes around the house and hardly wears his slippers or flip-flops until someone mentions them.

Makes perfect sense. People inflate prices on auctions to eliminate competitors who arent willing to pay as much and to let everyone else know how much you're willing to pay. The competitors can then opt to retire or make a higher bid. When you reach the sniping period, its very likely that the guy who inflated the price is going to snipe the item for the same amount he planned anyway, regardless of how much the price was raised (unless of course, someone raised for more than what he's willing to pay).

Auctions are a competition. You don't win by playing nice.

On the subject of wearing shoes in your house, I only wear my shoes when I'm going to town or outside. Otherwise, I tend to walk around my house barefoot.

I never used to care about shoes in the house until I went abroad. Usually I only ever wear them until I get to my room, since quite frankly I don't want to carry them the whole way up.

Am I the only one who doesn't really like 2 and half men? I always hated the kid and how Allen was basically ripped off in life (though he kinda deserved it sometimes)

You are my new best friend. I have no idea how it got so many seasons. I mean arrested development was a lot more entertaining but they got canceled halfway through the third season, yet two and a half men got how many seasons? I guess its one of the worlds mysteries, just glad im not the only one out there who finds the show terrible.

I agree that poor Alan got pretty much nothing but misery, and as with most TV kid characters the writers clearly had no idea what to do with Jake once he grew out of the cute kid phase. But otherwise I thought it was one of the most consistently-hysterical shows I've seen in a long time (until Ashton Kutcher ruined it, then I stopped watching). I applaud the producers for keeping alive the genre (if you will) of multi-camera/live audience sitcoms, which have been in short supply in recent years. I laughed more in a two-minute span of any given episode than I did in the half-season I watched of, say, something like Community. The only thing I never really liked was the character of Rose, who always grated on my nerves with all the stuff she'd get away with.

I wish Imgur wasn't allowed on this forum until the time is right for a return since it's been unavailable in the UK since last September, so I don't see why people use links from the site for here when it's no longer available in the UK and I'm really angry that their parent company made this stupid decision.
Happy 45th anniversary, MTV.
MeTV Toons is a great channel when it comes to classic cartoons, but we know it can be way better. The Duck4Real (me!) elaborates on this in his latest YouTube vlog. Watch it!

WB has done so well with releasing the Paramount Popeye cartoons on home media that they should be chosen to distribute the long-delayed animated Popeye film that at various points was to be made by Sony and directed by Genndy Tartakovsky (who has a long association with WB sister property Cartoon Network).
