1/29: The Genius and Coates run added new villains. 70s era, King Cadaver and Madame Slay come to mind. Plus the canon tie-in comic to BP1 introduced Zanda and Douglas Scott but the former was killed off and Shang-Chi intro'ed their own Razor Fist. Yeah, Achebe is a logical choice.

Nice to see Coogler coming back to complete the trilogy. The rare MCU director to achieve that feat along with Peyton Reed .

Well him, Peyton Reed, Jon Watts, and James Gunn. And though Wakanda Forever didn't do as well as the first that was ALWAYS going to be a victim of very specific circumstances they wouldn't blame on Coogler and so long as he had the passion to want to do another I'm sure Marvel were perfectly fine giving him the time to work on one especially with him still having such a high pedigree.
