No and it's already been proven that Eureka has proven itself to be much better than Evangelion long ago. (No offense Evangelion fans) And this episode just further stresses that fact.

Agreed, and I really loved Evangelion too, but Eureka 7 to me just has much more interesting characters, and more of an emotional impact, regardless of a few plot similarities.

Wow, this whole series is visually amazing. I never thought another episode would have a scene as beautiful as Renton catching Eureka in mid air, but I loved this one as much.

I don't think they could have positioned Anemone cuter, but it sure looks uncomfortable. Going to Domenic and being in his arms with very wonderfully emotional facial expressions. Taking his hand with the help of the "fuzzy lead weight" was a nice touch. I so want an explanation of who and what she is.

Evangelion is about how people drive each other apart, due to varying circumstances (mostly psychological). And it's real bleak about that.

The message in Eureka Seven is pretty much about joining together and reconciliation, and really is a heck of a lot more optimistic and hopeful. I think that may be why Dominic was made to survive, and Ray and Charles died. They were caught in the past and unable to move on to reconcile with Eureka and Holland. Dominic was able to get past Dewey's ideology and accept Anemone, like Renton did with Eureka.

I always thought she was a coralian girl because of her eyes but something is different because of her pain. I'm sure Dewey causes it.

she was artifficly created so she need medication to be kept healthy which also drove her a little crazy (just a little, she always was a bit crazy).

I favorite scenes were the way anomone was crying wihlie thinking calmly about her life, Her pet show'in its love for domonic by rubing his cheek, the pet bring the two together in mid-air (got to love that fat furball) and, of course, what did domonic say to anomone "It's been awhile" ???? ROFL, what a moron, and the response "Idot" sreamed at him...ah, that was priceless and my favorite moment in this anime

Also, the fight between the LOFs was great and who didn't at least feel sad when The End died. Poor alien really died care about anomone just like all those scenes in the anime where it (guy or girl or it ?) whatched over her. Also we now know what all those eyes in The End were for, they were used to shoot those red laser beams, pretty cool uh?

It took me a good few minutes to realize that was Anemone monologuing in the beginning...

It was fun to watch Dominic take 'personal interests' in trying to stop the END. Or, more importantly, go rescue the love of his life, who apparently has accepted her sacrificial lamb fate. Watching the spiral that made up the battle between the Nirvash and the END was enough of a time-waster for Renton and Eureka to get Anemone to come to her senses and want to live.

And then enters Dominic.

Dominic and Anemone finally have their moment in the light... before Dewey comes and blows up the Control Cluster, and in the process, the END...

Ladies and gentlemen... there's a 99% chance the Earth is now screwed...

I believe it's on the first.

I find it funny how the piece is actually used very, very frequently over the course of the series, but it doesn't carry any real impact until it's played over this particular scene. Almost as if it was redefined entirely. I honestly didn't think much of it until I listened to it in this context, but now I can only think of that reunion every time I hear it.

I actually own the first OST. It's a pretty nifty case and what not. Got it with my DVD set with episodes 1-5 (I believe it was.) Got to hear the dub before others and what not. I'll get all the box sets if I have to. The boxes are awesome, the booklet it comes with is very nifty and the post cards are beautiful.

Anyway, there is an OST 1 and 2. Then there's a Complete Best (I own OST 1 and the CB). It has all the openings/endings in full + the insert song coming in EP50 and an insert song from the game. It's quite awesome. The Complete Best comes with a few things + a DVD with all the openings/endings without credits and what not.

Edit: If you're talking about the part where they are falling through the sky, it's Track 23 on CD1 of OST I called "Nirvash type ZERO", done by Naoki Sato, just as most of the other tracks on the OST.

Not sure, but if you listen to the anime station on AOL radio, I do know they play some E7 soundtracks. I usually run across "Alone in the Wilderness" which is the quiet symphonic piece they use every now and then.

Ahh, I love that one. That'd be Track 17, Disc 1 of OST II, "Sprinting Spirits".
