C&C - Toonami - [SATURDAYS]

A bit of a different intro this week for Toonami. It was the same scene of TOM walking into the room and sitting on the chair but instead of the rap song we had a voice over of TOM thanking the Toonami Faithful for supporting Toonami.

Also, a pretty sweet Diablo III review aired on Toonami this week. It was actually a really good and honest review of the game and folks on Twitter seemed to be raving about the segment.

Along with, like, the best Toonami track ever. Good ol' Hammer.

I thougth that was a nice way to thank fans of the block. I was just starting to really get into the little song they'd played in the earlier couple of weeks, but maybe they wanted to do something to thank the fanbase, especially when they already have Steve Blum helping them out and he clearly enjoys working there as well. Still, it was a pretty nice intro.

More hope for Panty and Stocking; if you've been following their blog, Twitter, or Facebook, they're having a lot of fun with bleeping clips of Panty and Stocking.

Pre-editing for Toonami?

I think there's a strong likelihood that another FUNimation show will be taking Deadman's place when Deadman ends, that is, if the package deal theory holds true. One thing people aren't keeping in mind is that FMA: Brotherhood had to be renewed, AS would've lost the rights in February of this year if they hadn't. FUNimation could've arranged for a show to be attached with the renewal.

Also, has anyone noticed the changed [adult swim] bumpers during Toonami? They became red and white. Nice touch.

If Outlaw Star makes it back on the lineup I predict the intro would look like this:

(Don't mind the dislikes, this one guy literally has 11 accounts and uses all of them to dislike most of my creative videos like this one, but in the end of the day my subscribers over balance it)

They just aired a promo this Thursday Night. That's definitely a good sign. From what little I saw of it, it appeared to be the line-up promo.

The better cartoon show promo aired during an episode of American Dad.

For those of you who missed it, here's the Toonami promo for Deadman Wonderland:

Today marks the 25th Year Anniversary of when Pokémon Crystal was released in North America. To this day, the Johto Games remain my favorite games in the Pokémon Franchise.
Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
