I wonder what went wrong with Thundercats and the DC Nation block, and hopefully things will get better.

Just curious, but does anyone know/remember how Batman: TBATB did when it was airing on Saturday mornings?

When it was encoring the Friday premieres it did pretty well for a while (possibly a long while I'll look into it)

Don't think this has been mentioned. Looney Tunes scored 1.783 viewers at 1PM. That's really impressive.

and the replay of the LU movie did horrible

The Level Up movie did good for a CN Original Movie rerun as reruns of Firebreather and Scooby Door Curse of the Lake Monster have done similar numbers.

That Looney Tunes airing did better than almost all of Level Up's premieres. Not to mention that Looney Tunes doesn't get promoted and it's now aired at a different slot, while Level Up gets heavy promotion and airs in prime time.

I wonder how well it would do if it got the Level Up treatment.

Here's basically what they did to boost Level Up's ratings. Some of this is fair enough, and some of it is pretty ridiculous imo, choose yourself.

-Probably about 90% of all promotion
-Promoted months beforehand
-Had a movie of it, that they also promoted a lot and used to hype the series.
-Put it right at primetime
-Old canceled live-action shows (HITW, DBD and DWWH) aired a whole lot the week before Level Up's premiere to hype it.
-Made a special schedule on the premiere day consisting of the highest rated comedies on the network to further hype it.
-Moved Gumball right before it
-It got TLTS's slot which they moved right after it, without giving that any share of the promotion
-Gave it 5 rerun slots for the same episode in the first week.
-In its second week it had 10 slots including the premiere
-Level Up aired commercial-free and instead it got a 5 minute preview of next weeks episode after the current week's
-Made a special schedule on Tuesday permanently, consisting of the highest hated premieres in order to hype it.
-Moved Gumball premieres to 7:45, and aired no commercials between that and Level Up

Example of rerun slots;

Charm Bracelet:

Premiere:
Tuesday, April 10th at 08:00PM

Rerun slots that week:
Wedensday, April 11th at 08:30PM
Thursday, April 12th at 05:00PM
Friday, April 13th at 10:00AM
Friday, April 13th at 06:00PM
Saturday, April 14th at 11:30AM
Saturday, April 14th at 06:30PM
Sunday, April 15th at 08:00PM

I wonder how well it would do if it got the Level Up treatment.
I will not be surprised if it pulls 3.500 million viewers if it got the treatment. I think if they gave the treatment to it, it will succeed. I mean, look at the Grinch last year. With some promotion, it got 3.003 I believe. If they promote the classics, there will be a lot of success included with doing so.

I agree. If classic cartoons happen to get the same treatment as Level Up i believe they would still succeed.. but only if they actually promote them instead of just airing them with barely any promotion, kind of like what they did with Cartoon Planet. Don't get me wrong it's great they brought it back but from what i saw i didn't see much promotion for it.

I'm pretty sure they didn't even promote Grinch actually.

Wow, amazing numbers Regular Show! AT isn't even close...

No numbers from AO and MAD?

via theFutoncritic.com
http://thefutoncritic.com/ratings/2...we-raw-claim-top-spots-927421/cable_20120618/

8:30 PM Annoying Orange 2.287 million viewers, 0.384 million adults 18-49 (0.3 rating),
8:45 PM MAD 1.937 million viewers, 0.309 million adults 18-49 (0.2 rating)

Quite a drop for AO from last week, dropping 600K+ viewers from Regular Show. MAD drops about 350K. No report from the FutonCritic on Level Up. All these numbers are still well higher than what we've seen from Level Up with lead-in assistance from Total Drama: Revenge of the Island lately.

It's amazing that Regular Show is now the highest scoring. Annoying Orange has some impressive numbers, but we all know that if MAD and AO were switched MAD would have those numbers and Annoying Orange would be significantly lower.

I think there's just something wrong with that 8:45 slot no matter what premiere airs there. :P

Regular Show... wow. If they aired a 22 minute episode, maybe we would've got a 3.000. Still, that is beyond amazing. Same for Adventure Time... looks like a great lead-in.

For Annoying Orange and MAD, they both did fine. They didn't do as great as the other two, but I don't think either one will be cancelled if they keep putting up these kind of ratings.

The reason why they didn't include Level Up was because it was a rerun this week.

Hmm.. what movie aired on Disney Channel that night? That seems to be CN's biggest competition in that slot. Disney Channel usually shows a movie at 8:30pm weeknights.

Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
