So Pokémon was king that morning, but nothing really did that well... though it was a holiday. Still, it lost to Disney XD?!

Ouch, Scan2Go's not off to a good start at all, though it's the only thing that actually beat Disney XD in its timeslot. I knew putting it there was a bad idea. Now I'm wondering if CN actually cares about that or if they get any merchandise profits, but I doubt it given the shoddy treatment in comparison to Redakai when it was starting (and even now).

Wow, okay now that is really bad. Pokemon won the morning with 1.3!? That's ridiculous. Note to CN: No Level Up on Saturday mornings does not exclude the movie. Johnny Test did so much better in 7AM. Not kidding; I think it would've won the morning had it been there this weekend. Hopefully Scan2Go can at least get past 1.0.

Among its original animated programming, Monday night’s presentation of Regular Show (8 p.m.) ranked as the #1 telecast of the week among boys 9-14, as well as #1 in its time period among kids 6-11, kids 9-14 and all boys. Similarly, a new episode of The Amazing World of Gumball (Tuesday, 7 p.m.) scored as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14. Immediately following, Dreamworks Dragons: Riders of Berk (7:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, earning 16% delivery gains among kids 9-14 and 11% gains among boys 9-14 vs. the same time period last year.

Friday night’s 7-9 p.m. line-up of Cartoon Network’s newest series scored as the #1 destination on all TV among all boy demos, earning double and triple-digit delivery increases across the board—compared to the 2011 time period, kids 2-11 delivery grew by 39%, kids 6-11 by 34% and kids 9-14 by 52%. Both The Amazing World of Gumball (7 p.m.) and Ninjago (7:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in their time periods among all boys, while Dreamworks Dragons: Riders of Berk (8 p.m.) ranked #1 among boys 2-11 and 6-11., also earning double and triple-digit delivery growth across all demos.

Despite the promotion, the Gumball premiere did better than the Dragons premiere. Without firm numbers, we can't tell by how much, but it looks like Dragons is holding up well in re-runs.

Interesting info here, Regular Show did beat E.T in kids 6-11 and 9-14 and all boys. It's pretty clear why Adventure Time didn't get a mention, because of Nick's Spongebob event. Annoying Orange has dropped much in reruns. Beywheelz continues to be a bad lead-in for DC Nation. Luckily CN will put their new action premieres there later. Scan2Go wasn't very good either, and it was the premiere of it. The shows after it did worse without Johnny Test as a lead-in.

Yeah, I think Regular Show getting 2.1 was actually a very strong showing that night. I'm really glas that Gumball and Dragons are doing well. I still say that they should've pushed everything on Tuesday half an hour back, but they're stubborn with having Level Up at 8. Beywheelz will be at 8AM instead of the 9AM hour from now, although we'll have to see how that Metal Fury special preview / movie fairs before Ben 10 and Star Wars are back, but I'm sure those two will be able to break 2.0 and take Pokemon, perhaps even DC Nation along with them. Those two are the strongest action shows for sure imo. I'm interested to see how Dragons will fair in the 11AM hour. It's a good thing that Johnny Test comes right after.

Are you sure it's Level Up that caused the low ratings that Saturday? It was the last show to air that morning. If it aired first or in the middle, then I can definitely see it as the likely problem. Maybe something else was the cause. It happens.

It's very likely because we've seen Level Up being a ratings hole in the morning, even when the others were doing quite well. Whatever airs past noon pretty much always gets around 2.0 at least.

DC Nation hasn't done great either, but Level Up has been the main suspect for a while now. When it was replaced by a different show a few weeks back (I think it was MAD or Johnny Test), they were doing much better than Level Up did.

It's not really fair to beat up on Level Up's Saturday reruns when the other shows aren't really doing better. They would have lost less to DXD if they didn't air Level Up at the end of that morning line-up causing a 1.2 average for 90 minutes but that's just 90 minutes of the whole morning. Though Level Up's premiere ratings are low enough to get any cartoon cancelled so it's hardly fair to keep it going if it's going to do that badly. Anything not pulling its' weight in prime time needs to get the boot right? If that's the rules then Level Up shouldn't be excluded from it.

None the less the whole Saturday line-up did awful that weekend and the shows airing before Level Up are not affected by it.

The state of anime on CN looks to be pretty grim. At least there's pokemon, I guess that counts for something.

Actually, the only thing they get a merchandising cut from currently is Redakai, and that's not even anime. I'm pretty sure they don't for Pokémon, Beyblade, or Scan2Go.

The Pokemon Company and Hasbro may both be giving CN some kind of incentive for airing Beyblade and Pokemon and I have no idea about Scan2Go but I believe the decision to focus more on those toyetic shows might have a lot to do with airing shows they don't have to put later in the day due to content and don't have to edit to Y7 or a light PG.

I wonder if they could get away with playing SGT Frog and Fairy Tail on Saturday mornings with very few edits to FUNimation's uncut dubs and I also wonder how those two would stack up to Pokemon, Beyblade, Ben 10, Star Wars and DC Nation but I suppose we may never know.

Wow, Scan2Go actually did worse. But then again, CN doesn't advertise it at all aside from a shoddily-made website, a mention in a blog, and some videos on YouTube. At least with Redakai they gave it some hyping when it started.

Nice to see Pokémon improve as well as the post-DC Nation slots.

Another tough outing for DC Nation. A small problem in my opinion. I think it would do better in primetime and with more shows (luckily, that's coming soon). Scan2Go isn't Scan2Going so well... hopefully that'll change.
