CN Ratings Thread: Part 14

It is quality for a comedy cartoon (with some dark humor sprinkled here and there), that draws some material from the original Teen Titan's Cartoon. While TTGO is watchable, and funny at times, it's not necessarily the kind of show most old TT fans will loyally keep up with.

Scooby-Doo did pretty bad, considering that Scan2Go and Beyblade almost beat it.

I never even heard of it until when they posted it. ^

Decent start for Teen Titans Go, though when they said more than 2M, I expected a bit more. Oh well, they didn't lie and it did well in all the right demos. Also seems to have boosted TLTS, which is great. Johnny Test did pretty good consodering it has never really been a show that scores edpecially high in premieres but simply does well all in all.

Ouch at Scan2go. After cracking a million, its back underneath that.

Teen Titans Go! did good with a little over 2 million in ratings. Heck, it even beat Regular Show that week; having the second highest in ratings. Good start Teen Titans Go!, I hope it keeps doing well later on.

Actually, not counting JT and TTG since they weren't there before, everything except TLTS seems to be below average. Bad week huh.

what the hell? Did N really scare that many Pokemon kids away? this will be the heaviest action arc they will have... and N should be drawing kids in like flies.. lol and This week is Cheren's Anime Debut .. someone tell those kids to start watching pokemon! lol

You really can't go at it like that. The whole morning was down, and it's not even that bad. Another thing is that this shows total viewers and not amount of kids. It's too bad cynopsis doesn't post K6-11 ratings anymore.

Well, CN has been dropping since fall. I think one of the big reasons is that they doesn't have Ninjago now, which was really a big hit for them. I think the executives may have anticipated this. That's why they got a lot of new series this year.

Teen Titans Go had a strong premiere but those encore slots look really weak, just above 1 million for DC Nation and only 1.2 million for the Wednesday 8:30 encore? (which I suppose is still a rise from the Dragons rerun before it). Maybe week two will fare better.

Geez, Scan2Go keeps dropping lately. At least Titans Go is beating Johnny Test and Looney Tunes.

Wow, that is not a good week in ratings. The highest rating is around 1.4 million for Teen Titans Go! and The Looney Tunes Show is the only other show with over 1.2 million. What's the deal?

Maybe kids are getting bored of CN, since it has so little premieres and keeps taking off somewhat recent shows... *shrugs* Probably has something to do with this time of the year, though.

... Unless "may sweeps" is supposed to have the exact opposite effect of "poorer ratings". (I have no idea what "may sweeps" is really.)

I think it mostly had to do with the fact the Monday night shows were in reruns that week. Monday shows' ratings usually boost Tuesday's shows' ratings . The Wednesday night airing of Teen Titans Go! did slightly better than the original airing. Gumball had several good reruns on Saturday.

The "sweeps" period doesn't typically affect children's networks like CN/Disney/Nick the way it does broadcast networks. The past two weeks of so-so ratings on CN could simply be attributed to something else. Perhaps Iron Man 3's huge opening?

Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
