"Dr. Stone: Science Future" Season Four Talkback (Spoilers)

Using entertainment to brainwash the masses like the old days, lol. Good pitch, Ryusui.

lol, they recreated the old school video games.

Eh, the Medusa activated on its own?!

Could someone have given it instructions before it got there? Hmm.

It's all poison! :D

And a crude surveillance system invented.

Hehe, TV station established.

But not all for fun, Senku wants to build a spy satellite to find Why-Man's base. Ooo.

Entertainment media bringing people together, now the Stone World just needs forums

A completely rogue Medusa, are we looking at a traitor arc?

"This week, the Kingdom of Science re-invents television and video games while the conflict between “Why Man” and the Kingdom of Science escalates. So without further ado, let’s recap this episode.

The episode begins with the Kingdom of Science admiring the hydroelectric dam. We get some clarification on its creation as we find out that it was being created by the Japanese branch of the Kingdom of Science while Senku’s group was touring the world looking for materials to build the rocket ship. Senku depetrifies more people to help with the labor needed for his major engineering projects.

Ryusui declares that the public needs electronic entertainment media to help the morale. Senku just happens to invent a television set in just a couple of seconds of screentime. The problem is that there is nothing to broadcast, as there are no television stations in the Stone World. The entire audience does a face fault. It turns out that Senku has another cool invention to show off, an even more advanced computer called the SAL 9000 (probably not an intentional reference to that one episode of Recess featuring a rogue computer of the same name). This computer operates on punch cards but has a graphic interface. Sai puts in some code and creates Tetris. Video games have been re-invented. Breakout, Pac-Man and a montage of other retro video games ensue."

Episode 32 "Challengers of Science" - May 21, 2026
The Kingdom of Science's rocket launches are mired by a string of rapid unscheduled disassemblies.

I'm glad to see they were finally challenged in this final cour. Launching a rocket wasn't as easy as they thought and took 7 tries over several years to get right. The expressions on their faces, lol.

Of course Kohaku's eagle eye was going to help locate Why-Man on the Moon. So hilarious she jumped out the cave with the monitor. Good thing that cable line was so long, lol.

Yeah, of course, everyone wanted to make a two way return rocket but it would take even longer to make. Good on Chrome to zero in on a familiar idea to Xeno and Senku, launch it in parts. Though the only part is only that small team going to the Moon would be there to assembly it. Hm.

Next, build the Internet... >_<

A relief there's no space weather or space travel would be even harder

Wonder if Whyman's noticed that new satellite in orbit

Democratic System acquired, Chrome/Suika had the power to change minds and stubborn wills and accepted their own limitations

"In this episode, the Kingdom of Science create a science and the plotline of Chrome and Suika’s secret mission to create a rocket capable of making a return trip is resolved. So without further ado, let’s recap what happened in this episode.

The episode begins with an explanation of how satellites work. Chrome wonders what fuel is used to propel a satellite. Senku explains that fuel is not needed to keep a satellite in orbit. Gravity keeps satellites floating in space “falling” laterally and not accelerating towards the ground when launched at the correct angle. Senku also explains that the sun’s power can be harnessed to power a satellite. Thus, the kingdom of science creates some solar panels. We learn that selenium, which was also used to create television cameras is used to make a satellite. The satellite is created in about a minute’s screentime and the explanation of how satellites are made is rushed as lots of other inventions in this final season."

Episode 33 "Wanting Everything" - May 28, 2026
The team is too small to build a round-trip rocket. They'll need to enlist help from around the world.

Tea leaves for making the Internet? Eh...

Ah, for the underwater cables. That a quick montage. Thought this was a big project, lol.

Senku strength train? lmao.

Oh Ginro...

lol, who else came up with the super complicated maze.

Hmm, Tsukasa or Kohaku as the warrior...

So Senku, Ryusui, and Kohaku. The rocket better not blow up...

Good point, could Why-Man have automated turrets on the Moon base?

Cool inventions. A step up from throwing a bottle up in the air.

Net gun grenade. Now that's inventive. But in space?

Stanley's statue. So that's where they keep him.

In-Tea-Net? Unfortunately that's not enough explanation for me to understand how the internet works, but I guess it did involve lots of net

Let the Astronaut Auditions commence, and the Senku torture swimming lessons/waterboarding

So Kohaku's as strong as Tsukasa and Hyoga now, good to see Kohaku not sidelined as the co-protagonist in the final hours, Tsukasa pulling a Sozin's Comet Part 1 Zuko

Ah the bursting liquid watch of the stone future, that watch will be no fad

What's this? Another astronaut swap-out with a frontrunner putting aside their spot for the good of the team? But surely Stanley's not ready to be in lock step with Senkohaku before the launch!

"This week on Dr. Stone, the Kingdom of Science re-invents the Internet and undergoes astronaut training in order to prepare for the final battle. So without further ado, let’s recap this episode.

The episode begins with Senku declaring his intention to re-invent the Internet in order to communicate with the world. His peers question how he plans to do this and he explains that tea leaves are the key. His peers find his words crazy as they question how tea leaves can create the Internet. He explains that the tea leaves are resistant to water and electricity. Naturally, that means that these tea leaves are useful to create underwater cables that can be used to connect the world. The Perseus helps lay the cables and Ryusui decides to go to North America to connect the cables, taking a stop on Hawaii for vacation as Hawaii was the one stop they forgot to go on the world tour arc. The show gives little indication of how much time is passing to create this wired network."

Episode 34 "Countdown" - June 4, 2026
Ryusui may need to defer to a better pilot for the moon mission.

It was nice to see actual emotions from Ryusui besides being confident. He really wanted to go to space but realized he wasn't the best candidate to go. Also, we finally are going to face Why-Man on the Moon! Now we're getting to the end. Has it been confirmed how many episodes we have left?

And Stanley's back. I suppose it's perfectly logical he would be a better asset as the pilot than Ryusui and he's a better shot.

Ryusui only showing his real feelings around Francois. Dah...

"Maybe not all of that..." :D

Wow, really recreating the 21st century at lightspeed before he takes off for the Moon. Like he was acting kind but really was it because he wasn't 100% he'll return to Earth and just making sure Science Kingdom has a a few more things?

lol, we thought brick cellphones were bad...

Aw, Xeno cares and made him chewing tobacco to sub for cigs. heh.

Just 5 percent. :D

Yeah, even Taiju ain't buying that, Gen. lol.

Man, they did it.

Has it been confirmed how many episodes we have left?
3 more.

Senku is officially a @Space Cadet Spacesuits acquired

Stanley joins the family without pushback, as usual for "redeemed" Dr. Stone antagonists

Incredible they managed to make me so nervous for a fictional moon launch, the gravity of this is felt for sure

Probably not many Gen quips left now, surprised he didn't ask for any appliances and that he and Senku didn't have a touching boyfriend farewell like Xeno made sure to do with his

"Dr. Stone Science Future: “Countdown” Episode 91 Recap"

Dr-Stone-episode-91-closeup.jpg

"It’s the final countdown! After weeks of buildup, the Kingdom of Science finally goes to space, but before the big mission, Senku tries to cram in reinventing as many technologies from the modern era as possible. Ryusui gets replaced by Dr. Xeno’s villainous ace pilot Stanley, an uneasy alliance that will complicate the mission to defeat the “Why Man.” So without further ado, let’s recap this episode.

The episode begins with Ryusui trying to explain his situation to Senku using the metaphor of a knight falling in love with a princess yet believing that a rival suiter would be better for the princess. Senku does not get the metaphor. Ryusui spells it out more clearly while talking with Dr. Xeno and Senku. It turns out that the character Ryusui was thinking of replacing him was of Dr. Xeno’s henchman from season three part two, the ace pilot Stanley. The Kingdom of Science agrees to the idea even though Stanley is a villain. Well, the Kingdom of Science is already teaming up with Dr. Xeno himself so it’s not too shocking that they would also team up with an elite henchman. It is a major twist that a henchman from a previous arc is going to participate in the final battle rather than Ryusui from the main protagonist team."

Episode 35 "Giant Step" - June 11, 2026
The rocket needs to be assembled in space. Not an easy feat in the 21st century, let alone in the stone world.

We finally blast into space and it turns out Ryusui did fulfill his dream of going to space and helps out the crew with docking. We also finally land on the moon, so it's time for Why Man to show themselves.

Sextant acquired (stop laughing), also the doppler effect described, glad ground control are still getting plenty to input, although Taiju can maybe shut up a little

So Ryusui had the others' blessing to go up? It had almost seemed like a stunt he did without telling anyone, at least the spinster came in handy though maybe I'm biased in preferring it'd have been someone like Chrome instead

Here we are, the moon (our loyal shield), Senku has never been closer to his father

Xeno doing something nice? We are near the end, lol.

Can't foresee every problem. Got caught up in the pageantry of it and should have petrified themselves prior. Luckily, Ryusui really wanted to go into space. No surprise he had a backup board, but the human wheel was a funny surprise.

Ahh, using the Doppler effect to calculate and monitor.

Wild, they're finally on the Moon. We're getting the big answer at last...
