I thought Dr. Eggman was going to be antagonist of the games, but I'm not complaining. Lyric looks neat and judging from a screenshot in the link, he's one massive snake. I hope he makes for a great boss battle.

Sticks the female badger looks cool/likable with an awesome design looking like Marine, she's my next favorite awesome female character after Princess Sally, Bunnie Rabbot, Amy Rose, Blaze the Cat, Marine the Raccoon, Fiona the Fox, and Rouge the Bat.
Lyric looks really cool/interesting/threatening and is so my next favorite awesome new villain in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe(I love evil snakes, hehehe), I'll enjoy both Sticks/Lyric's characters in Sonic Boom.

His purpose will probably be announced very soon considering that he popped up. Looks like a pretty cool character,but that probably comes from the fact that the SB team combined two things that are awesome in their own rights:snakes and robots. It's been a while since Robotnik has had an evil acquaintance,assistant or otherwise. I think most new concepts Sonic Boom will bring in will be good in some way.

True,but since the show is the prequel to the game,it should explain how he got in his current position.

Actually, it's the other way around. The games are prequels to the show as they detail how Sonic and the gang ended up in the setting.

True,but since the show is the prequel to the game,it should explain how he got in his current position.

It's the other way around, actually, not that's going to matter necessarily, since each episode will be standalone with no continuity.

In any case, it's kind of a moot point since Sonic Boom is, for all intents and purposes, an alternate universe that's not part of the main franchise (and continuity...).

I wonder if Lyric has absolutely no role in the TV show. It'd make sense not to use him as a villain in the show, if he was already defeated in the Sonic Boom video games. Like others have said, I like his character design. ^^

Pardon the error. In my opinion,the more the merrier when it comes to the TV series. Anything the team would want to pull could be fantastic.

I'm starting to have second thoughts about Sonic Boom based on what I've seen from the game........I know it's not out yet but that gameplay clip was cringeworthy and annoying and same goes for the trailer. I hope the show isn't this obnoxious, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was.

Sega of America posted a new Sonic Boom the TV Show E3 trailer. I LOL at Knuckles and Sonic interaction. Gotta the animation looks pretty great now that I seen other scenes.

That TV trailer was nice. Way better than the video game trailer that Pac-Attack was talking about. The animation was top notch and I liked seeing how the other characters are animated. The only one missing was Sticks. I wish I saw what she looked like in motion.

The video game's gameplay trailer on the other hand, was annoying to my ears. It would have been fine if the characters weren't spouting lines with every action they make. They gotta dial the talking down to like, once in a while.

Overused? He's part of a formula. Mario tried a new villain. Remember Smithy? Never had the same feel
