CN Ratings Thread: Part 13

I have to say I'm impressed, I thought the show's popularity wore out like all the other Canadian teen cartoons. But even without a huge promotional blitz, the show's doing well.
Good for CN!
I still believe the other two FreshTV shows already aired on CN (6teen and Stoked) would do well (especially with this long break in airing them) if they returned to the schedule. It sure would break up the monotony of constant almost daily airings of AT, RS, and MAD.

TD received a good bit of promotion, but they promoted LU on the level of a few other things they have in the past (one of the Ben 10 live action movies comes to mind). What we DIDN'T have to see with the TD promotions were members of the cast telling how great the show was gonna be ad nauseum. YUCK.

Will wonders never cease a show between Regular Show and MAD actually holds on to most of the RS audience and doesn't badly affect a MAD premiere? I wonder if the Orange can keep that up.

Those are very impressive ratings and it's still not summer yet. This summer could be one of their best in a while.

~Cartoon Networks' ANNOYING ORANGE Premieres as Television's #1 Telecast of the Day Among Boys 6-11;

Annoying Orange increased ratings & delivery by double digits--ranging between 22% and 57%--across all key kid and boy demos compared to the prior week and prior 4 weeks.

The Annoying Orange premiere (Monday, 8:30 p.m.) built upon its Regular Show premiere lead-in among kids/boys 6-11.

SYNOPSIS: Boasting more than 1 billion YouTube views to date, Annoying Orange is the Web sensation transformed into a new television series that follows Orange and his buddies as they Go On a wide range of adventures taking them from the fruit stand to parts unknown and everything in between. From the Prehistoric Era to Colonial Times, Orange and the rest of the fruit stand gang are dropped into outrageous adventures and challenged to squeeze their way out of them. Joining Orange on his escapades are popular produce pals from the web series including the level-headed Pear, potential paramour Passion Fruit, resident goody goody Apple, the always upbeat Marshmallow and Orange’s nemesis the hulking Grapefruit. The only human to interact with this veritable fruit salad, and is a brand new character, Nerville (played by You Tube sensation Toby Turner), the proprietor of fruit cart where Orange and his crew “reside.”
Annoying Orange features guest voices by Michael Clarke Duncan, Jeffrey Tambor, Tim Curry, Tony Hawk, Malcolm McDowell, Billy Dee Williams, Leah Remini, Tom Kenny, John DiMaggio, Nick Swordson, Danny Trejo and Felicia Day.
Developed and produced by leading entertainment management and production company The Collective, Dane Boedigheimer (the creator of the Annoying Orange Web series) co-created the television series with Tom Sheppard (Emmy Award-winning writer for Pinky and the Brain). Conrad Vernon (director of Madagascar 3 and Monsters vs. Aliens) serves as executive producer along with Gary Binkow and Dan Weinstein of The Collective.

Huge percent differences ahead of competetion. Cartoon Network led 1735% against some sort of competition (probably Nickelodeon), unless Cartoon Network is counting The Hub, Nick Jr., Nicktoons, PBS Kids Sproud or something.

What happened to Nickelodeon and CN that Saturday? Disney held alright but both Nick and CN were lower than usual.

That's really freak'n bad ratings for ThunderCats and Young Justice premieres especially when the GL rerun only did slightly worse and the Ben 10 rerun beat them.

:^: Look out below! Disney XD got a 1.3. That must've taken away a bit from CN/Nick.

But Green Lantern really fell on it's face. A 1.0 is unacceptable. That's worse than Level Up a few weeks back and Redakai and Bakugan a while back (or at least the same).

Ouch, a 1.2 for Young Justice is not good at all for being a premiere and a 1.0 for Green Lantern is terrible despite it being a repeat, CN's Saturday morning numbers need a major pick me up and I'm not liking these ratings whatsoever. I still miss hearing about great CN ratings and reading them on ratings websites circa 2007-2009 before they started to tank, I wonder what the reason was for such the deep drop?

Whoa, this is really bad. Beyblade, Total Drama and Johnny Test are the only acceptable stuff here imo. JT at 7AM got more than ThunderCats, CL and YJ.

First of all, I think meant Total Drama: Revenge of the Island at Teens 12-17 since it says 7:30p, but that's really damn impressive for Total Drama. Also the fact that even the TDI reruns made it and nothing else from CN did, shows that perhaps they could continue to rerun TDI some more, of perhaps give TDA and TDWT a run too.

:^: Maybe they can revisit the idea of a "Total Drama Tuesdays" block. They've done so once, but that was with TDI/A/Stoked/6teen. Now, with 4 series, they can try to boost up TD:ROTI's ratings with them.

Live-action. CNReal. Did ya forget? :V

And d**m! Total Drama is killing it! :P
I wonder if the new cast this season helped boost TDI's ratings. (aside from the fact it hasn't been on the air in a long time)

I wonder what went wrong with Thundercats and the DC Nation block, and hopefully things will get better.

Just curious, but does anyone know/remember how Batman: TBATB did when it was airing on Saturday mornings?

Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
