They weren't even able to release the original 22-minutes packages as they were produced.. What kind of "remaster" is this anyway?
They weren't originally produced as 22-minute packages so your request is impossible. Unless you mean that you want the Evil Con Carne segments?

But this is basically how CN EMEA aired it in 2004-2008 so I am not complaining. I really only remember Grim and Evil from the reruns on VT4 (a local channel). I do wonder if the Dutch version (Bar en Boos) had a dubbed intro with "Dutch" evil laughters. I really don't remember.

Grim & Evil Romanian intro exists, as Warner TV used to show the original masters of those segments here. And the intro was dubbed, so likely it was in Dutch too

Makes me think that if they even add Evil Con Carne to the service (impossible because low priority) they'd only add post-Grim and Evil episodes, instead of the full run like CN EMEA and Tubi.

Fact: The following Billy & Mandy dubs outright dub Grim's laughter in the intro to my knowledge (source: direct access to HBO Max in Denmark since that's where I live, plus VPN connections to HBO Max in Kazakhstan, Ecuador and the Taiwan region)
  • Danish
  • Romanian
  • Brazilian Portuguese
These dubs mute Grim's laughter in the intro altogether:
  • German
  • Castilian Spanish
  • Hungarian
  • Russian
The other dubs (Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, French, Italian, Polish, Latin American Spanish, Thai, Indonesian, Malay, Mandarin and Cantonese) leave Grim's laughter intact in the intro.

From HBO Max Romania.

Just so you know, the "season 1" of Billy and Mandy they released is not even the entire first season, it's just a random set of 22-minutes packages mixed-up and they're not even in order. And they are mostly episodes post-Grim & Evil.

At least Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack seems to be alright, with (probably) all the S1 episodes that actually exist. Though the order is the USA airings one, plus for some reason, S2E02 has the segments swapped between them in order.

Oh well, they still managed to screw up, but hopefully it's only the beginning in terms of classics for us
Imagine watching Grim on any streaming service here in the states lol

Tubi has GAOBAM but just removed ECC.

Like I said, ECC is low priority. I remember when it aired Fridays-Sundays only near noon because of the low amoint of episodes

I can confirm myself about the Romanian dub that it is indeed the case :)

Also, about the Flapjack episode "Several Leagues Above the Sea!/That's a Wrap!", while the "actual" segments order may have been this one (it aired as so in the USA), still, the European masters always had this pair with them swapped. Not only because this is how CN CEE always aired the full episode since the beginning, but also it's evident in the new streaming copy here (the 16:9 master with the audio from the old 2008/2009 dub). On the Romanian track of the episode on HBO Max, after "That's a Wrap!" ends, on the audio, before the credits roll, a small faint of the final music part of "Several Leagues Above the Sea!" is heard. They altered the order of the segments from the European dubs masters.

Say what????
Yeah. And none of the European versions care to add it. It's like ripping pages off a history book.

Also, from what I was told, on some CN shows like Cow and Chicken, or at least only on Cow and Chicken for all that I know, Tubi prints omit the CN logo at the end and replace it with the 2000s Warner Bros Television logo.

They do it only to Cow and Chicken, as they restored the show to HD and they like to add that WBTV logo to everything that is a "new print". At least, they seem to plaster logos on the linear/streaming prints

The HD print of Cow and Chicken used by HBO Max in Western Europe actually retains the original Hanna-Barbera Cartoons (Cartoon Network Studios precursor) after the credits sequence.

Yeah, the original raw HD copies keep the original logos, as they were intact when Cartoon Network USA aired Cow and Chicken during the Checkered Past block.

Seems that WB stamps that outdated distribution logo only when it's about licensing to third-party platforms. Like they do on MeTV Toons and (apparently) on Tubi.

Ah so it's a licensing affair.

Hello hello, long time no see.

I don't know if it was a discussion here before, but I think I'm witnessing signs about these packages of classic shows being intact and safe from censorship. And I think this clip tells it.

But if I'm mistaken, my ears are open.

I retract my previous statement.

I retract my previous statement.

Both the Western and Eastern European prints for this show on HBO Max make this exact edit. (A closeup of a model's swimming briefs–clad rear end as they shake it from side to side, immediately followed by a shot of a male model pulling and releasing the top of the back of a female model's swimming briefs, are both cut.) The Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Castilian Spanish, Polish, Hungarian, Romanian and Russian dubs are all affected.

The Latin American, Asia-Pacific and Australia/New Zealand prints for this episode on HBO Max retain the original uncut scene. That goes for the Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Mandarin, Cantonese, Thai, Indonesian and Malay dubs too.

And Chowder Also Doesn't Have an Official European Portuguese Dub?
No, it doesn't. There's simply put no such thing as a European Portuguese dub of Chowder. They'd need to make an entire dub from scratch (like they did with Courage the Cowardly Dog) if they wanted to put that show on Cartoon Network Western Europe or on HBO Max in Portugal.

No way, they even cut part of the song. Reminds me of MBC 3's airing of the Flawless Girl song from Phineas and Ferb season 2 (which probably aired in full on DC EMEA's Arabic track), the channel's S&P decided to cut half the song.

Reminds me of how Looney Tunes Cartoons opted to censor Porky Pig dating a supermodel in an episode.

Which one? And don't tell me it was in a season 1 episode; season 1 of Looney Tunes Cartoons is no longer available on HBO Max in Europe!
