Saturday Mornings look dull as dishwater. That's too bad. Funny how Pokemon didn't seem to have lost it's audience after SW, GL, and YJ left the lineup. That said, Ben 10 held onto almost all of Pokemon's audience. That's real good. Now if only a new show can premiere after Ben 10...

Scooby Doo gained some viewers for its second episode. To me, that might indicate viewer interest in a show that the public at large most likely doesn't know about. Eh, but what do I know. Also, Incredible Crew rose a bit in the ratings. It's weekday stint must be driving it some attention. Adventure Time and Regular Show remain the networks highest rated shows. I can't wait til CN premieres those other shorts they have in the works.

im sure pokemon will spike once more this week as its the final episode for the unova league, and then a new intro will likely come in as we start episode N for 3 months

I'm pretty sure we wont have a new intro when the episode of N arc comes. We only had the current one for 12-13 episodes, so it'll probably continue through the episode of N arc and the arc after that too to run for a total of about a year like most of them. The dub ignored that Japan has divided BW up as much as they have when BW2 came, so it's probably the same case here.

Anyways, back to the ratings. Incredible Crew has actually held decent numbers for a while, even though early on it looked like it would do a Level Up. I think it plays a role that CN isn't overhyping it as insanely much as they did with Level Up, which they handled terribly. MAD is having about the same numbers. Both are probably satisfying because they're cheap to produce.

Scooby-Doo got alright number I suppose, though they surely could've been better. The other part of season 2 did better at an earlier timeslot but that was also in the summer break.

Again, the anime remains completely untouched by Saturday morning being shorter on premieres even in total viewers. Confirms that the fanbases weren't really related. It's too bad Ben 10 is hurt though. I'd still support wednesday night action with Chima, Ben 10 and Dragons as I really think it could do good there but it's just a dream.

No one yet has posted the Legends of Chima premiere ratings from March 27th. (via futoncritic)

Wednesday, March 27th
Legends of Chima (8:00) - Cartoon

1.446 million viewers, #5; 0.285 million adults 18-49 (0.2 rating), #16

Ouch! I think CN's going to want more Ninjago now.

Damn! What's weirder is that Chima completely disappeared from the schedule after that before the episode even aired.

Geeze... I guess that's why Chima hasn't been spammed in the commercials as of late.... Kinda hoping it would pick up steam, but I guess people were turned off by something? That sucks for action shows featuring animals in the main cast.

Or....the fact this series is quite similar to another series....

Who knows? Who knows...

Who knows... but I can see how kids easily caught onto Chima's similarities to "that other show". Maybe that did turn kids off to Chima...?

Maybe they just noticed how horribly vapid and poorly-written that script was? Ninjago wasn't Shakespeare, but at least it had entertainment value. Chima has absolutely zero redeeming factors to it.

Well I'm sure CN was hoping that the show would receive similar viewership to Ninjago. Maybe it's because many Ninjago fans were frustrated at the fact the Chima promotion began immediately after the Ninjago finale. They just immediately suspected that Chima was a replacement for Ninjago. You'll find many angry comments concerning this on the show's Facebook page and on the Lego forums. I've also seen that the Ninjago series may return as posted it's Facebook page. However, there does not seem to be any official confirmation from Cartoon Network.

Cool, Scan2Go actually cracked a million, and almost passed Beyblade.

Adventure Time is doing really well and had a great increase from last week. Everything seems to have gone up including Incredible Crew. Anyway, from the Son of the Bronx source there were a lot of good Regular Show reruns that likely helped them a lot the whole week.

Those Incredible Crew ratings don't thrill me at all.

Meh, I don't think kids care enough to change the channel from IC... not as long as they're getting a good laugh. IC is basically CN's All That... so we were probably going to see IC for a while anyways. I just hope CN has learned it's channel is not for live action programming. They spend waaay too much on HoG alone. The best place for cartoons needs to stop green-lighting these L-A shows if they aren't even going to air Team Toon.

I like how the Sat morning anime was barely affected with the exit of Ben 10, Star Wars, and DC Nation... must have some loyal watchers.

Teen Titans Go! demolished everything in its way for the premiere episode on Tuesday.

The debut of Warner Bros. Animation’s new animated comedy-action series TEEN TITANS GO! on Tuesday, April 23, at 7:30/6:30c on Cartoon Network packed a ratings punch, ranking as the #1 kids program of the day on basic cable among Boys 2-11, 6-11, 9-14 and Male Teens.

It also ranked #1 in its time period among Kids 2-11 & 6-11 as well as Boys 2-11, 6-11, 9-14 and Male Teens, outpacing its timeslot competition on Nickelodeon and DisneyHD by double- and triple-digits among the show’s key demos of Kids 6-11 and Boys 6-11.

TEEN TITANS GO! delivered a 5.0 rating among its key demo of Boys 6–11 and more than two million Total Viewers

Among Boys 6–11, the 5.0 rating for TEEN TITANS GO! improved Cartoon Network’s performance in the time period by +117% versus last week (2.3 rating for The Amazing World of Gumball).

It makes sense that Teen Titans Go! did so well, for various obvious reasons. However, I believe the show deserves that rating because I enjoyed it well enough, so I can imagine children loving the show. Hopefully CN's vendetta is only against action cartoons, not DC cartoons because this show can serve as the gateway drug to reading DC comic books, the same way the original Teen Titans, JL/JLU, and Young Justice did.

Man. I hope TTGO can keep those amazing numbers up. As long as CN continues to roll out the red carpet for it, I think TTGO will be fine. Awesome to hear it did so well in ratings. :>

The only type of show that CN should have a vendetta against is live action but that's beside the point :P

I'm surprised the lion's share of that 5.0 didn't come from the adult demographic seeing as how popular the original series was back in the 2000s. Ah, well... TTG! cleaned house! I expect this momentum to take the show a long way because this is a hot start. Keep it up Cartoon Network!

SN: I lost focus there, how was the show itself? Was it at least watchable?

Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
