Looks like Young Justice is benefiting from airing right before Korra. Those adult ratings put a lot of Adult Swim shows to shame.

Seems Thundercats is either outperforming or on par with the DC Nation block on Saturdays with the key demos. And yet Cartoon Network refuses to advertise it and won't give it a renewal.

Level Up needs to leave Saturday mornings as its ruining the momentum for the rest of the block.

While I think Level Up is decent, that Saturday Morning airing needs to go. I guess it will once it gets down to 0.9

Because it didn't perform well enough when they did. And no, most weeks it's been as low or lower than Green Lantern.

Thunder Cats ratings have been spotty, not low. :/

I remember T-Cats' first low SAT AM ratings was a week when a scary episode premiered.

Tigra visiting the Tiger people. Proved too much for Saturday Mornings. :(

On Wednesday, Cartoon Network was only 28K tweens from Disney Channel.

Ya Cartoon Network was second in kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14 and was close to Disney Channel in tweens 9-14, and was way ahead of Nick in that demo.

Here are the ratings from last Saturday morning:

- Thundercats - 1.755 million viewers and an 0.55 18-49

- Green Lantern - 1.675 million viewers and an 0.54 18-49

- Young Justice: Invasion - 2.037 million viewers and an 0.72 18-49

We'll have to wait until Friday to see the K6-11 numbers, but I have a feeling(at least in YJ's case) that more adults watched than kids.

Where did you get these numbers from? I'm interested in knowing the total viewers of each episode of Young Justice.

Because it didn't perform well enough when they did. And no, most weeks it's been as low or lower than Green Lantern.

When they did? When did they? The only used the same old trailer over and over and over (and kinda exaggerating the "overs") that just had scenes from the premiere and the first couple episodes. They never advertised new episodes.

God forbid something that isn't Adventure time needs advertising. They advertise Adventure Time's reruns.

When it first came on, they promoted the heck out of it. Any kid watching CN knew they had new episodes on Friday. Despite this, it didn't do well enough, otherwise it wouldn't have to be moved. If there weren't enough kids that felt compelled to come back after the first few episodes, then previews wouldn't have made much difference.

... Or previews would have made a difference. Geeze, dude. You make it sound so black and white. :/

Cartoon Network once again beat Nick in kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14, and was within less than 100,000 viewers in kids 6-11 and tweens 9-14 of Disney Channel. Sorry I couldn't do comparisons, there was no data for that Thursday last year.

There were weeks when ThunderCats beat GL and weeks when GL beat ThunderCats. The problem is, when ThunderCats did worse it did a lot worse. Getting 1.3 and 1.0 when GL was around 0.3-0.4 higher and ThunderCats was one of if not the lowest of the morning. Where as when the cats beat GL they usually only did so by 0.3 or less and GL was not the lowest of the morning.

Those few bigger drops are not going to do ThunderCats any favors.

Cartoon Network in May 2012 ranked as television’s #1 network for early prime (7-9 p.m.) delivery of boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14. Monthly average growth among targeted kid demos vs. May 2011 include kids 6-11 (up 1%, 652,000) and kids 9-14 (up 8%, 505,000). Total Day delivery in May 2012 also grew among kids 6-11 (up 3%, 357,000) and kids 9-14 (up 13%, 290,000).Also across May, Cartoon Network ranked as the #1 television network (broadcast & cable) among kids (2-11, 6-11, 9-14) and boys on Monday night. Cartoon Network again ranked #1 among all boys on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday nights; and #1 among boys 2-11 & 6-11 on Saturday and Sunday nights (7-9 p.m.). Both Wednesday and Friday nights posted double-digit delivery gains among all kids demos, ranging between 19% and 42% vs. May averages in 2011.

Among its original animated comedy series, Regular Show (all telecasts factored) scored as the #1 program of the month among boys 6-11. Additionally, Adventure Time ranked as the #1 program on Mondays among kids 6-11 & 9-14 and all boy demos. MAD on Mondays (8:30 p.m.) was #1 in its time period among kids 6-11 & 2-11 and all boy demos. Moreover, the April 30 telecast of Adventure Time (7:30 p.m.) was the #1 telecast of the month among boys 6-11 & 9-14; the May 5 telecast of Regular Show (8 p.m.) was the #1 telecast of the month among boys 2-11.

On Tuesday nights, original series The Amazing World of Gumball (7:30 p.m.) scored as the #1 telecast in its time period among kids 2-11 and all boys 6-11, 2-11 and 9-14—it also scored double-digit delivery growth among kids 6-11 (up 11%, 763,000) and kids 9-14 (up 28%, 565,000) compared to May 2011. Similarly, Level Up (8 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among kids 6-11 and all boys on all TV; and #1 among kids 9-14 on basic cable. And on Wednesday nights, Ninjago (8 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among kids 6-11 and all boy demos across May 2012, earning between 29% and 60% growth vs. May 2011.

Additionally, Saturday mornings overall (6:30-11 a.m.) earned gains among kids 2-11 & 9-14, and boys 2-11 & 9-14. Action-adventure animated series ThunderCats (9:30 a.m.), Green Lantern (10 a.m.) and Young Justice: Invasion (10:30 a.m.) scored delivery gains across all kids, ranging between 3% and 34% vs. the same time period last year.

Level Up obviously is doing well in reruns, beating out Nick@Nite and Disney Channel (with Phineas and Ferb and Good Luck Charlie), well with kids 6-11 anyways.

Cartoon Network beat Nick and Disney in tweens 9-14 on Friday, and got close in kids 6-11.

MAD with a season premiere at 1,4 mil is a good indication that it's not working out well in the 8:45 slot. But you know what CN? You should already know this by now!!

Today marks the 15th Year Anniversary of ThunderCats (2011). While I find it unfortunate that the show was canceled before it had a chance to finish its story, I am glad that the show's art director was willing to give fans closure via a podcast interview.
Okay, so I found out that Sailor Moon had meet and greets at Universal Studios back in May. It would have been so cool if we had that at the turn of the century. I have gotten hugs from a Sailor Moon and a Sailor Mars at a local con back in the 2010s and spent under $100 doing it, so I don't know if this is worth the splurge but I can see that these affluent geeky people are enjoying their Sailor Moon hugs.
The characters from Netflix's Mating Season apparently were born from the same deeps as the Warner Bros cartoon characters
